BAKWC 2010 : PG FA178-MKII

There was Malaysia BAKWC helded at Kuala Lumpur, Sg Wang Plaza on 23th~28th Nov 2010 My entry , a scratch built of add on full armors to Bandai Perfect Grade RX178-MKII.
Total of approximate 90days, 4-6 hrs daily to complete the built.




































Appreciated with BAKWC 2010 2nd Runner up
a Bronze medal , a winner's badge & a 1/144 Bronze plated Freedom Gundam :)

  11. Mr.Lim, how did you make the Full Armor Part can be detachable from the Mark II? Because I want to make Full Armor part for some of my gundam too but I don't know how to make it detachable! >.< thanks for the advice :D

    Ha actually there's nothing special treatment to make those parts detachable .
    It just all the usual way to fix parts together-
    Mostly are just tight fit with accurate measurement
    Hole & pins on non visible area
    Magnet on the inner area , means the 2 magnet are not direct contact, just sandwich the plastic in between
    Screw for heavy parts like the whole back pack
    And also try full utilize the existing fitting structure..
    Anyway, different parts ll need different fixing method :)

  15. All i can say is wow. this is one of my favorite pieces to drool over mate. if you don't mind me asking, how did you rig it up to have the armor removable? did you use magnets?
